We help runners eliminate pain, rebuild resilient mechanics, and get back on the road and trail — for good.
Our approach looks past where it hurts. We find why the pain developed and what your body needs to handle the demands of your training. The goal isn’t just short-term relief — it’s stronger, more durable running with less risk of the injury coming back.
Take the first step by requesting your appointment below.
We work with runners across every distance and surface — from first-timers to seasoned racers — including those who spend their miles on:
Each runner is treated as an individual. Training volume, running gait, footwear, injury history, and race goals all factor into how care is delivered.
As a runner, you want to know you’re choosing care that understands mileage, cadence, and the way repetitive load builds over a training block — not generic rehab.
You also want to know how treatment works. Our care goes beyond stretching and rest. We assess your gait, strength, and mechanics, then build progressive loading around your goals and your next start line.
The proof is in the outcomes.
Runners trust us when they want to keep training and stay durable, not just wait out an injury. When you’re ready, schedule your assessment and start moving toward pain-free miles.

GET FREE ACCESS NOWSince being introduced to Dr. Matt and his team at Next Level PT through my company, Platoon Fitness, I've been nothing but impressed. As a personal trainer, it's incredibly important to have physical therapists I trust to refer my clients to, and after working with Dr. Matt myself, that trust has only grown. I've already referred three clients to Next Level PT because I know they'll receive exceptional care and have heard nothing but glowing reviews! When I first started treatment, my left hip was extremely restricted. I had difficulty moving it through multiple ranges of motion, and was afraid this may really have a negative impact on my running. Dr. Matt took the time to identify the root of the issue, explained everything clearly, and built a plan that actually worked. Throughout the process, he has been encouraging, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in my progress. Now, I'm increasing my marathon training mileage pain-free and moving in positions, that used to bother me, without issue! As someone who works in the fitness industry every day, I appreciate how seamlessly he bridges rehabilitation with returning to performance rather than simply getting patients out of pain. Dr. Matt and his entire team are professional, welcoming, and truly care about helping people succeed. Whether you're recovering from an injury, dealing with nagging pain, or looking to get back to doing what you love, I can't recommend Next Level PT enough.
Next Level Physical Therapy is the real deal. Dr. Matt Simcox is truly next level in his care and attention for his clients. He is professional and relates well to his clients. He goes the extra mile and he knows his stuff. My high school daughter was having knee pain and some ankle pain. We went to Next Level Physical Therapy for the free evaluation. Dr. Matt was very thorough and walked us through everything he was doing. He explained how the body was connected and as a result of my daughter's previous injuries and hip misalignment, the knees were overcompensating. Her hips, knees, and ankles were out of whack. Since she is a track athlete and was in the middle of the season, so he developed a 11 week plan tailored to her specific issues. He asked her what her goals were and came up with a plan to help her achieve those goals. She started out with minimal hip rotation, pain in her knee, and ankle stiffness. She had plateaued in her running events. Through a combination of his expertise, soft tissue techniques, exercises, etc, Dr Matt found what worked for our daughter and what her body responded to. Each session he took time to see how her day or weekend was, kept her engaged, and connected with her. Every week he sent messages seeing how she was doing and asking about her track meets. It was such a personal touch and let me know that he truly cared about our daughter as a person. He remembered details about her and encouraged her. Even when she injured her other knee, he brought us in to check her out and swiftly shifted to addressing the new injury. She had 5 days before a major competition and we weren't sure she would be able to compete. However, Dr. Matt identified the issue, came up with some solutions and exercises to help her body quickly respond so that she would still be able to compete. This was a major blessing because she would have been devastated if she couldn't compete. At the end of the 11 weeks, my daughter met her goals. She qualified for Districts and New Balance Nationals. She no longer has pain in her right knee and her hips are better aligned. She ran her PR in 2 events and got her PR, breaking her school record in the long jump. After each week, she was making significant progress at her meets. This would not have been possible without the help of Dr Matt. We are thankful. It was well worth the investment. I highly recommend Dr. Matt Simcox at Next Level Physical Therapy. He rocks!
Dr. Devi is literally the best answer/cure that every perpetually injured runner could possibly hope to have and work with. I went to Next Level to do a running gait analysis after about 10 years of pain from running-induced sciatica that ended up getting to the point where it was sending painful shocks all the way up my back from impact. Devi is a seasoned runner herself and is super knowledgeable about anatomy, and it's so reassuring to go into a session and openly discuss running related injuries and soreness at length, and actually get answers back as to what's wrong and what to do besides "stretch and ice it". As I made progress we naturally found other problem areas which were the results of old injuries never fully addressed, to which she modified my recovery plan each time, and since then I've been running pain-free and I haven't had back pain since first calling Next Level. "I can't run because it throws my back out" was proven wrong and I'm happy I got to work with Devi at Next Level to heal my injuries.
I wanted to share my experience with next level physical therapy and Dr. Devi. I last ran the broad street run 25 years ago and returned to running recently with the goal of running broad street once again, unfortunately my body is 25 years older as well. Dr. Devi has been wonderful getting me in running condition and teaching me that knee pain isn't just about the knees--this was an important lesson! The exercises she taught me have really worked but most importantly were easy for me to do on my own between visits. Running broad street this sunday! Thanks!
I had a great experience at Next Level Physical Therapy working with Dr. Elyse. She was incredibly thorough and took the time to build a rehab plan that fit seamlessly into my training for the Broad Street Run. Everything felt very personalized, and I really appreciated how she explained the “why” behind each exercise and what it was addressing in my body. Not only did my plan feel manageable alongside my running, but it also significantly reduced my hip pain. Working in healthcare myself, I appreciated understanding the specifics of what was causing my pain. I also valued the time she took to not only formulate a plan for me, but provide a variety of options and exercises that helped me feel like an athlete again rather than someone held back by hip pain. Highly recommend for anyone looking for thorough, individualized care!
I’m an avid runner and was training for my first marathon back in may of 2025 and had significant knee pain which derailed my marathon and was not able to attend the race. I found Next Level PT from a quick google search and the reviews were all positive and decided to give them a call. I can’t say anymore great things about Next Level, my Physical Therapist Dr. Rich was awesome and very informative, he led me back to running at full strength and was able to run the Philly Marathon in 3:46:28 back in November. I highly recommend Next Level Physical Therapy.
I came to Next Level for a running assessment and was very pleased with the services received. My physical therapist, Devi, was the best! She helped me identify issues in my running form, proposed attainable goals, and developed a workout plan for me that was easy to implement. I would recommend Next Level and Devi to anyone looking to the improve their running form and reduce the chance of injury.
Working with Matt at Next Level put me back on track. I had chronic pain that was keeping me from activities that I enjoyed my whole life, like running and sports. After a few months, I was running, lifting and training again. It made a huge difference in my quality of life and I can’t recommend Matt & Next Level enough.
I started physical therapy feeling pretty discouraged. This was my second Achilles injury in three years, and after working with a different PT previously, I still didn’t feel like I had addressed the root cause — especially as a runner. From day one, Dr. Devi at Next Level took the time to really understand my history, my goals, and what hadn’t worked before. She built a thoughtful, progressive plan that was specific to running and focused not just on getting me out of pain, but on fixing the underlying issues. She knew when to push, when to hold back, and always explained the “why” behind what we were doing. I never felt like just another appointment on the schedule. I felt supported, challenged, and genuinely cared for. I’m now back to running consistently and feeling stronger and more confident than I have in a long time. I’m incredibly grateful for her expertise and would highly recommend her to anyone dealing with a stubborn injury.
I’ve had a really positive experience at Next Level Physical Therapy. I went from not being able to jog without experiencing severe knee pain the next day, to running for over 20 minutes without rest or pain, and even returning to strength training, including deadlifts I also hadn’t been able to work out consistently in over 10 years, and through the care provided by Elyse Dinan, I’m now working out six days a week with no plans of stopping. I’m pain-free, and finally on the path to living a more active life again. The care is highly individualized, and Elyse was there for me 100% of the way. Through her initial testing, she was able to pinpoint the true cause of my knee pain, which turned out to be a lack of hip mobility. She gave me targeted exercises that addressed the root cause, and I’m now confident I’ll remain pain-free as long as I keep up the work I’m extremely grateful that I found Next Level Physical Therapy, and that Dr. Elyse Dinan was able to set me up for long-term success.
Congratulations!
