About Dr. Meghan Bruce

Dr. Meghan earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Rutgers University after completing undergraduate studies in Health and Exercise Science at The College of New Jersey. She brings over 4 years of experience helping patients recover from injury, move better, and perform at a higher level. Before becoming a physical therapist, she spent more than a decade working in the run specialty industry, where she developed a deep understanding of gait mechanics, footwear, and the unique demands placed on endurance athletes. Dr. Meghan specializes in orthopedic rehabilitation and sports recovery, with a special interest in supporting runners, cyclists, and other endurance athletes through performance training and injury management. She is passionate about helping people stay active and continue doing the activities they love.

Treatment Philosophy

Dr. Meghan focuses on developing sustainable, efficient, and effective programs with her clients to help them feel confident in managing pain and preventing it from limiting them in the future. She believes in educating patients about movement and strength so they can build long-term resilience, trust their bodies, and stay consistent with the activities that bring them joy.

Outside the Clinic

Outside of the clinic, Meghan enjoys running and racing distances from 5K to the marathon, as well as cycling, trail and mountain running, painting, and cooking vegetarian meals. Staying active helps her relate to the challenges many patients face, such as maintaining consistency, balancing recovery, and continuing to pursue performance goals outside of work. She values living a healthy, well-rounded lifestyle and brings that same perspective to her work with patients every day.

Why I Became a Physical Therapist

“There are a lot of voices out there that sometimes lead people to believe they will not be able to reach their goals or will have to be limited in some way due to an injury or pain. I am passionate about helping people break through these barriers and work toward living the life they want.”
