Treatment Philosophy

Dr. Elyse’s approach focuses on identifying and addressing underlying imbalances and movement restrictions that drive pain and dysfunction, so injuries and limitations are treated at the true root cause. She values learning about each individual’s unique goals, passions, and interests to ensure patients follow a plan that not only helps them become pain-free, but also aligns with what they truly enjoy and supports their ideal outcomes. Through a combination of evidence-based techniques and individualized exercise selection, patients are able to manage pain while improving durability and performance. She also emphasizes the importance of education throughout the process to improve patient participation and long-term understanding, helping them maintain results for years to come.

Outside the Clinic

Outside of the clinic, Elyse enjoys weightlifting, skiing, mountain biking, running, and traveling with friends and family. She enjoys the physical and mental challenges of these activities and the continual pursuit of growth, while staying connected to nature. This pursuit parallels the challenges her clients face, where balancing consistency, recovery, and growth is essential for success. Finding a balance of joy, excitement, and growth is Elyse’s recipe for success, both for her clients and for herself.

Why I Became a Physical Therapist

“Life is meant to be explored and experienced, and being held back by pain can have a significant impact on someone’s life. It is incredibly rewarding to help people return to enjoying life to its fullest, whether that means getting back on the court or being able to pick up their grandkids. I find so much beauty in the process and love watching people rediscover themselves after years of frustration and pain.”
