Dr. Jose earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Arcadia University after completing undergraduate studies in Exercise Science at Rutgers University and a Master’s degree through Baylor University. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and is Mental Health First Aid certified (MHFA). With over a decade of experience helping athletes and patients build and improve their strength, recover from injury, move better, and perform at a higher level, he has developed a comprehensive and practical approach to rehabilitation and performance training. Jose specializes in orthopedic rehab, performance training, and sports recovery, working with athletes, weekend warriors, and post-operative patients. His previous experience as a Division 1 college strength and conditioning coach provided exposure to a wide range of athletic demands, which helps him better understand how to guide patients through structured, progressive rehab suited to their goals.

Dr. Jose focuses on blending evidence-based techniques with individualized training and performance strategies, tying these techniques into his patients’ everyday life to promote recovery and help them return stronger without sitting on the sideline of life. He emphasizes the importance of clear expectations, practical guidance, and collaborative decision-making, ensuring that each patient understands how their plan fits into both their symptoms and their long-term goals. His approach centers on creating consistent, manageable progressions that promote improved function and long-term outcomes.

Outside the Clinic
Away from work, Jose enjoys spending quality time with his family and his dog. He believes in maintaining balance in his personal life and brings that same sense of steadiness and purpose to the care he provides every day. Whether working with competitive athletes or individuals rebuilding foundational strength, he values the relationships formed through rehab and the opportunity to support people through meaningful change.
Why I Became a Physical Therapist
“I believe strength is the easiest superpower we can all build. No matter our level or age, strength is something we can continue to build. The stronger we are, the more confident we are, and the easier the challenges of life become.”
