Dr. Joe earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Touro University after completing undergraduate studies in Psychology with a PT focus at Mount Saint Mary College. He brings multiple years of experience helping patients recover from injury, move better, and perform at a higher level. Dr. Joe specializes in orthopedic rehabilitation, working with active older adults, weekend warriors, high school athletes, and post-operative patients. He enjoys working with individuals who want to stay active, regain function, and return to the activities that are important to them, whether that means sport, fitness, or everyday movement.
Treatment Philosophy
Dr. Joe focuses on understanding each patient’s mindset, identifying barriers to progress, and providing a friendly and approachable environment while implementing individualized training and evidence-based techniques. He believes successful rehabilitation comes from combining clear communication with practical, goal-oriented care that fits each person’s lifestyle. His approach emphasizes building consistency, addressing movement limitations, and guiding patients through a structured process that supports recovery and long-term function.

Outside the Clinic
Away from work, Joe enjoys exploring new places, spending time with family and friends, and attending sporting events. He believes in keeping life balanced and bringing that same sense of connection and purpose to the care he provides every day. Staying active and engaged outside the clinic helps him better understand the demands his patients face in their daily lives.
Why I Became a Physical Therapist
“I became a physical therapist due to my history as a baseball pitcher and dealing with my own arm issues that prevented me from progressing as far as I hoped. This experience motivated me to become the best physical therapist I can be so that I can help others achieve their goals and stay active.”
