Find the Cracks in Your Foundation Before They Cost You Performance

Athletic performance is built from the ground up.

At the top is your ability and skill within your sport.
In the middle is strength, speed, and power.
At the base is movement quality and foundational capacity.

When limitations exist at the base, everything above it is affected. Performance stalls. Injuries become more frequent. Training stops translating the way it should.

The Functional Movement Screen is designed to identify those limitations early. It’s the same style of assessment we’ve used in elite sport environments, including professional combine settings, and it’s just as valuable for athletes and active adults outside of that setting.

THIS ISN’T SPORT-SPECIFIC.
IT’S HUMAN-SPECIFIC.

WHAT TO EXPECT FROM THE ATHLETE’S ASSESSMENT

The FMS based Athlete’s Assessment combines standardized movement screening with objective performance testing to give a clear picture of how your body is functioning as a whole, not just where pain or symptoms show up.

This approach has been used with athletes ranging from youth and high school competitors to collegiate and professional players, including work at MLB and NHL combines. The goal is the same at every level. Identify what is limiting efficient movement and address it early.

FOUNDATIONAL MOVEMENT ANALYSIS

We assess fundamental movement patterns to identify mobility restrictions, stability limitations, and compensations that develop over time.

These patterns often come from past injuries, repetitive training, or years of sport specialization. When left unaddressed, they increase stress on joints and tissues and raise the risk of breakdown.

BASELINE PERFORMANCE TESTING

Alongside movement quality, we evaluate key performance qualities such as strength, movement control, force production, and how well you absorb and manage impact.

This allows us to identify asymmetries and inefficiencies that limit performance and increase injury risk, even in athletes who appear strong and well conditioned.

A CLEAR PATH FORWARD

After the assessment, you receive a clear snapshot of how your body is moving and performing. You’ll see what is working well, where your biggest vulnerabilities are, and what deserves attention first.

There is no guesswork and no generic programming. Just a focused plan to help you move better, train smarter, and build a more durable foundation for long term performance.

Who This Is For

Athletes

From youth athletes to collegiate and professional competitors, this assessment is designed to uncover the movement limitations that hold performance back. Whether you are chasing the next level or trying to stay healthy through a long season, this provides the same type of insight used in elite sport settings.

If your son or daughter is dealing with recurring injuries or pushing toward higher levels of competition, this assessment shows exactly where movement is breaking down and how to correct it. It provides clarity, direction, and confidence moving forward.

If you still train hard but feel stiffness, aches, or recurring setbacks, this assessment identifies the movement issues driving wear and tear. The goal is to help you move better, recover faster, and stay active long term.

FOUNDATION

Pain is the result of a weakness in your foundation.

Regardless of location, severity, and age, recovery relies on 4 key foundations.

This is our “4 Pillars of Recovery.”

Failure to address each pillar leads to pain and poor results. Long-term pain relief only happens when each pillar is strengthened at the right time.

PILLAR 1:

STRUCTURE

Any structural damages that have potential to limit your physical ability to recover must be addressed first. By tackling these barriers first, we set the stage for real lasting progress, not just temporary relief.

PILLAR 2:

MINDSET

Your thoughts and beliefs are a major indicator of your body’s ability to recover. We must ensure that they are healthy, empowering, and most importantly, accurate.

PILLAR 3:

MOVEMENT

How you move at the most basic level is the building block of everything. In order to load your body with advanced movements, you must possess strength and control in your basic functional movement patterns.

PILLAR 4:

CAPACITY

Solid movement with strength and control is what leads to long-term pain relief. As your body builds capacity, you’ll feel stronger and more confident to get back to doing what you love.

STRATEGY

We start with the end in mind so that your treatment has intent and purpose.
