At Next Level Physical Therapy in Hamilton, we believe lasting results come from understanding the whole picture, not just treating where it hurts. Our team takes the time to identify movement limitations, strength deficits, and compensation patterns that may be contributing to your pain so we can create a plan built around your goals.
Every treatment session is one-on-one with a licensed physical therapist. You’ll never be passed between providers or placed into a generic program. Your care is personalized, your progress is tracked closely, and your treatment evolves as your body improves.
Whether you’re an athlete, active adult, or recovering from surgery, our focus is helping you move with confidence again. We combine hands-on treatment, movement analysis, and strength-based rehabilitation to restore function and help prevent future setbacks.
At our Hamilton clinic, we don’t just help you recover from injury. We help you build a stronger, more resilient body so you can stay active, perform at your best, and get back to doing what you love.
Pain is often the result of how the body moves, compensates, and adapts over time. Instead of chasing symptoms, we connect the dots to uncover the root cause and build a plan that creates lasting results.
Hands-on treatment to reduce pain, improve mobility, and prepare your body for better movement.
Targeted mobility and recovery strategies that help restore movement and keep you active.
Correct movement patterns that contribute to pain, compensation, and recurring injuries.
Progressive loading to rebuild strength, control, and confidence for long-term success.
Whether you are recovering from surgery, dealing with chronic pain, or trying to return to an active lifestyle, our goal is not just short-term relief — it is helping you move with lasting strength and confidence.

Competitive athletes and active individuals looking to recover from injuries, improve performance, and stay healthy year-round.
People balancing work, family, and fitness while dealing with aches, pains, or movement limitations.
Personalized recovery plans designed to restore strength, mobility, and confidence after orthopedic procedures.
For ongoing back, shoulder, knee, or neck pain that continues to return despite previous treatment attempts.
Whether you’re an athlete, active adult, post-surgical patient, or someone dealing with recurring pain, our team is here to help you move better and return confidently to the activities you enjoy.
At Next Level Physical Therapy, we help patients throughout Hamilton, Robbinsville, Princeton, East Windsor, West Windsor, Mercer County, and surrounding communities recover from pain, restore movement, and return to the activities they enjoy. Our team treats a wide range of orthopedic injuries, mobility limitations, sports-related conditions, post-surgical cases, and chronic pain issues through individualized, one-on-one care designed around your goals.
Back pain can develop from many different factors including mobility limitations, movement compensation patterns, repetitive stress, sports injuries, lifting mechanics, postural demands, and previous injuries. Whether you are dealing with stiffness, muscle spasms, sciatica symptoms, disc-related pain, or recurring flare-ups, our team focuses on identifying the underlying movement issues contributing to your symptoms.
Rather than focusing only on where the pain is felt, we identify the movement restrictions, strength deficits, and compensation patterns that may be keeping symptoms around. Through hands-on care, progressive strengthening, and movement-based rehabilitation, we help patients return to exercise, work, sports, and daily activities with greater confidence and less discomfort.
Knee pain can develop from sports injuries, overuse, post-surgical limitations, strength deficits, running mechanics, mobility restrictions, or movement compensation patterns elsewhere in the body. We commonly help patients dealing with ACL injuries, meniscus irritation, patellofemoral pain, tendon pain, and recurring knee discomfort.
We take a root-cause approach to knee pain by evaluating how the hips, ankles, strength levels, and movement mechanics influence stress on the knee joint. By improving mobility, control, and lower-body function, we help patients return to running, lifting, training, and everyday activities with confidence.
Hip pain can affect everything from training to running, lifting, and athletic performance. We commonly help patients dealing with hip impingement, labral irritation, muscle strains, stiffness, mobility limitations, tendon pain, and movement-related hip discomfort.
Our team focuses on connecting the dots between hip mobility, core stability, lower back function, and overall movement quality. Through individualized treatment and strength-based rehabilitation, we help patients improve performance, reduce irritation, and return to the activities they enjoy most.
Shoulder pain commonly affects athletes, gym-goers, active adults, and individuals performing repetitive overhead activities. Conditions such as rotator cuff irritation, impingement, labral injuries, instability, and post-surgical stiffness can significantly impact strength, mobility, and daily function.
Because shoulder pain is often influenced by how the entire upper body functions, we evaluate movement patterns beyond the shoulder itself. Treatment focuses on restoring mobility, improving strength and control, and helping patients confidently return to lifting, sports, work, and everyday activities.
Neck pain and headaches are often influenced by posture, breathing mechanics, mobility limitations, muscle tension, repetitive movements, and movement compensation patterns throughout the body. Symptoms may include stiffness, tension headaches, pain with turning the head, radiating discomfort, or recurring tightness around the neck and shoulders.
Instead of treating symptoms alone, we assess the movement and lifestyle factors that may be contributing to recurring neck pain and headaches. Through targeted mobility work, strength training, and hands-on treatment, we help patients improve function, reduce tension, and move with greater confidence.
Ankle and foot pain can significantly impact walking, running, exercise, sports performance, and daily movement. We commonly help patients dealing with ankle sprains, plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendon pain, foot stiffness, instability, and recurring ankle injuries.
Successful recovery requires more than treating the foot or ankle alone. We evaluate balance, strength, mobility, and movement patterns throughout the lower body to improve function, reduce reinjury risk, and help patients confidently return to running, sports, training, and daily life.
Elbow and wrist pain commonly develop from repetitive movements, sports activities, lifting, gripping, typing, or compensation patterns involving the shoulder and upper body. We frequently help patients experiencing tennis elbow, golfer’s elbow, tendon irritation, wrist stiffness, nerve-related symptoms, and movement limitations affecting daily function.
Our treatment approach focuses on addressing the loading patterns, movement habits, and strength deficits that may be contributing to ongoing irritation. Through personalized rehabilitation and movement-focused care, we help patients reduce pain and return to work, exercise, sports, and everyday activities.
Sports performance and return-to-sport training bridge the gap between rehabilitation and full athletic performance. At Next Level Physical Therapy, recovery does not stop once pain decreases. We continue progressing strength, movement quality, conditioning, and sport-specific performance so athletes can confidently return to competition and training.
Our performance-based approach helps athletes bridge the gap between feeling better and being fully prepared for the demands of competition. By progressing strength, power, conditioning, and sport-specific movement, we help athletes return to training with confidence while reducing reinjury risk.
Explore the conditions we commonly treat and learn how our root-cause, movement-focused approach helps patients throughout Hamilton and Mercer County return to the activities they enjoy with less pain and greater confidence.

I had a stress fracture on my L4 and Dr. Tom was able to help me achieve the goal of being able to run and play lacrosse again. With Dr. Tom’s kindness it was able to help me persevere throughout this time and get me game ready.
Got a severe quad contusion while playing. Could barely walk. Fast forward 2 weeks I’m sprinting and making cuts at 100%
I've been working with Meghan for knee pain and can't recommend her enough. In less than a year, my pain is almost completely gone, even though I've actually increased how much I'm moving and exercising. Beyond the physical results, the biggest thing I've taken away is a much deeper understanding of how my body works. I now go to the gym with so much more confidence about what I'm doing and why, instead of just guessing. Huge thanks to Meghan and everyone else working at Next Level!!
I had a really great experience at Next Level during my ACL rehab. Everyone at Next Level was so positive and supportive, which made a big difference, especially on the harder days. They helped me a lot physically, but also mentally, always encouraging me and keeping me motivated. I never felt discouraged, and they made the whole process feel manageable. I am in a really good place now, both physically and mentally, and I’m so grateful for all their help. I would definitely recommend Next Level Physical Therapy to all, especially young athletes like myself.
I am a wrestler and had a labrum tear in my left shoulder i had to get six anchors. i wanted to get back fast so i know i had to go to the best at Next Level pt and Doctor Tom has me doing really well way ahead of schedule. recommend this place and Doctor Tom.
I Had Tommy John Surgery Over the summer and immediately started working with these guys over at Next level. 8 months to the day of Surgery I am now on the field playing to my fullest potential. These guys have helped me through pretty much everything and my arm feels better than it ever has. These guys are all about the right conditioning and taking care of your body itself. I highly recommend to any younger athlete or anyone in general to come give this place the attention it deserves. Huge thanks to everyone here for helping me out, never would’ve thought I could’ve stepped on the field again but luckily these people stepped it up!
I own a local sports performance and adult personal training facility (TNL Performance) and have been working with the staff at Next Level since 2017. I've sent over a dozen athletes that have dealt with injuries, all of which have made great recoveries. It's very valuable knowing there is a reputable physical therapy clinic like Next Level PT within 15 min of our facility. On the personal side, I've also done some physical therapy at Next level for a back injury Dr. Colin provided me with a custom physical therapy plan after a thorough movement assessment & helped me understand the process to getting back to 100% speed. After my time working there, I was able to utilize the tools they gave me to sustain the progress I made.
I had a great experience at this clinic. Erin Durnin and the entire staff were welcoming, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in my progress. They helped me address multiple issues across my shoulders, hips, back, and ankles, while also explaining how my movement patterns were contributing to the problem and how everything was connected. The treatment plan was effective and easy to follow, and I’m now able to return to physical activity pain-free. I can even feel a noticeable improvement in how I move day to day. Highly recommend this clinic to anyone looking for high-quality, personalized physical therapy.
I came to Next Level Physical Therapy with significant shoulder pain after having already seen another physical therapist to no avail. Dr. Meghan was able to pinpoint the exact issue that was causing my pain, and not only did she provide me with exercises that helped to completely dismantle it, in the time I spent with her she taught me more than I could have ever imagined I would learn about how to properly move my body. I came away from the experience with absolute confidence in using my shoulder for everyday tasks, as well as for working out - an activity I had been avoiding for quite some time due to the pain I was experiencing. Dr. Meghan is an incredibly patient, knowledgeable, understanding, and talented physical therapist. I would send anyone to her and to Next Level without question.
I have been going to Erin at Next Level PT for 8 months now, and I cannot believe my progress. I have been struggling with bilateral plantar fasciitis for 3 years and bilateral hallux rigidus for 5 years which has significantly reduced my ability to exercise and do the activities I love. With Erin’s diligent coaching and guidance, I am now able to take long walks 1-2x/week, go to pickleball 1x/week, and do strength training in bare feet!!! I’m also experimenting with forms of movement I haven’t done in several years, like Zumba. I had lost all hope on ever living an active lifestyle again and came across an ad for Next Level on YouTube. I made an appointment for the next week, and I am so glad I did!!! I am so grateful for the exceptional physical therapy at Next Level. I could not give a higher recommendation.
