Outside the Clinic
Outside of the clinic, Rich enjoys staying active through training and coaching baseball. He also loves spending time with his fiancée and their dog, often exploring new spots around Philadelphia together. Staying active and connected helps him relate to the challenges many of his patients face, such as finding balance between performance, recovery, and everyday life, and brings the same sense of teamwork and support he values in his practice.
Why I Became a Physical Therapist
“I’ve always been fascinated by sports science and the way the body moves, especially how small improvements in movement efficiency and control can make a big difference in performance and injury prevention. Coming from a background as a college athlete, and later as both a physical therapist and baseball coach, I’ve always enjoyed “nerding out” over the mechanics behind sport. Physical therapy became the perfect way to blend that curiosity with my passion for helping athletes perform at their best and stay healthy doing what they love.”
