Treatment Philosophy
Dr. Matt specializes in his ability to get the local area healthy as quickly as possible while also addressing the foundational root of the problem. He does this with infectious energy and a down-to-earth style that makes sessions productive and enjoyable. He uses a progressive system that guides patients from early healing back to full performance. He begins with Restore, reducing irritation and regaining range of motion. He then moves into Re-coordination, helping the muscles work together through the restored range. Reintegrate focuses on reconnecting the area with full-body movement patterns that reflect the demands of sport and daily life. Once movement is restored, he emphasizes Resilience, training the area to handle real-world stress through progressions in speed, duration, or load. The final phase, Relentless, reflects his commitment to seeing each patient through the process with consistent follow-through and support.

Outside the Clinic
Outside of the clinic, Matt enjoys lifting, playing basketball, and watching sports. Staying active helps him relate to the challenges many patients face, including maintaining consistency, balancing recovery, and pursuing performance goals outside of work.
Why I Became a Physical Therapist
“One of my most rewarding moments was working with a high-level high school baseball player who tore his ACL right before the start of his senior season. He came in frustrated, realizing the injury would take away his final year, but we quickly shifted the mindset toward getting one percent better each day. We aggressively attacked his rehab, and when he arrived at his now collegiate program that fall, he was participating in practices seven to eight months post-op. His teammates and coaches were questioning whether he had even undergone ACL surgery because he was moving so well. He went on to have a stellar freshman season and has remained healthy in the years since. What made this case special was not only the speed of his return and the progress he made but also the individual himself and the bond we formed throughout the journey.”
