In January, I figured my running days were over. I had so much pain in my hip, knee, and shoulder (!!) that it was waking me up in the middle of the night. I had been running 3-5 days/week since 2008 and just thought, “Welp, we had a good run, time to start walking.” Thank goodness I found Next Level and Dr. Mike. I started going to him this summer; he reassured me that my running days weren’t over and created a plan to help me get back on the road! Dr. Mike explained each exercise thoroughly, and not just the “how” but the “why.” He helped me to build on my progress so I saw improvements every week. I recently started running again, my pain is GONE, my range of motion is so much better, I’m sleeping well again, and I know that all the time and work I put in is going to help me stay strong and healthy, rather than trying to run too soon and getting injured again. Can’t thank Dr. Mike enough for helping me get back to doing what I love!
